▌創作理念 Director’s Statement
拍攝這部片不是為了還原一段「苦難史」，更是一名女性以生命回應壓迫的故事。她無法選擇命運，但她選擇不崩潰、不退讓。四十年沉默背後，是她撐住一個家庭、隱忍一整個時代的重量。我們拍攝這部片，是希望能為她的經歷命名，為歷史留下證詞。那些無法說出的話、被壓下的聲音，如今將透過畫面，走進更多人的記憶裡。
《禁錮的餘生》由她的女兒（施昭伶）的角度出發，走進檔案、走進母親的沈默與羞辱，透過家族訪談與史料挖掘，拼湊一個女人如何在體制與命運雙重擠壓下生存的歷程。這不只是高菊花的故事，也是全世界在威權陰影下，無數女性倖存者的縮影。

This film is not made to reconstruct a tale of suffering, but to tell the story of a woman who responded to oppression with quiet strength. She could not choose her fate, but she chose not to break, not to give in. Behind 40 years of silence lies the weight she carried—holding a family together, enduring an entire era. We made this film to give her experience a name, to leave a testimony for history. The words that could not be spoken, the voices that were silenced, will now enter the memories of many—through the images we’ve captured.

Kao Chu-Hua – Daughter of White Terror victim Kao Yi-Sheng, famed Latin singer “Panana” of 1950s–60s Taiwan.
Kao Ying-Chieh – Younger brother, translator of her diaries, keeper of family and Tsou history.

深耕台灣紀實影音紀錄製作逾三十年，創立「野火樂集」推廣原創作品至國際。身兼出版、策展與製作人，首部監製紀錄片《跨樂時代》入圍金馬獎複選。
- 沈可尚｜導演
曾入圍坎城、山形、瑞士真實影展等。代表作《噤聲三角》《野球孩子》《築巢人》等，屢獲金鐘、金馬、TIDF等獎項肯定。 - 盧元奇｜導演
台藝大電影系畢，與沈可尚長期合作。擅長剪輯與導演，代表作《遙遠星球的孩子》獲金鐘最佳剪輯與非戲劇導演。 - 洪廷儀｜製片

Hsiung Ju-Hsien – With over 30 years of experience in documentary production rooted in Taiwan, she has worked as a publisher, curator, and producer. Her debut project as director, Sounds of Taiwan: A Musical Journey, was shortlisted for the Golden Horse Awards.
