她是高菊花，是1950-60 年代炙手可熱的拉丁歌后「派娜娜」，也是白色恐怖受難者高一生的女兒。在父親被槍決後，她放棄赴美學醫的夢想，走進歌廳以歌聲撐起一家生計，卻在威權體制下成為被情治單位控制、利用的對象。她被列入黑名單，長年受控監視，甚至被迫「接待」外賓。在新解密檔案中，她的命運赤裸展現。
《禁錮的餘生》由她的女兒（施昭伶）的角度出發，走進檔案、走進母親的沈默與羞辱，透過家族訪談與史料挖掘，拼湊一個女人如何在體制與命運雙重擠壓下生存的歷程。這不只是高菊花的故事，也是全世界在威權陰影下，無數女性倖存者的縮影。

She is Kao Chu-Hua, a dazzling Latin singer of the 1950s–60s known as “Panana,” and daughter of White Terror victim Kao Yi-Sheng. After her father’s execution, she gave up her dream of studying medicine in the U.S. and turned to singing to support her family. Under authoritarian rule, she was blacklisted, surveilled, and coerced into hosting foreign guests for the regime. Newly declassified archives reveal the full extent of her exploitation.In the Spotlight follows her daughter, Shih Chao-Ling, as she confronts the silence and shame her mother endured. Through family interviews and historical research, the film pieces together one woman’s survival under political oppression—a story that echoes countless untold lives of women under authoritarian regimes.

This film is not made to reconstruct a tale of suffering, but to tell the story of a woman who responded to oppression with quiet strength. She could not choose her fate, but she chose not to break, not to give in. Behind 40 years of silence lies the weight she carried—holding a family together, enduring an entire era. We made this film to give her experience a name, to leave a testimony for history. The words that could not be spoken, the voices that were silenced, will now enter the memories of many—through the images we’ve captured.

▌目前企劃發展階段 Current Stage of Project Development
《禁錮的餘生》已完成前期開發與主體拍攝，涵蓋原鄉田野、歷史現場重建、專家與家屬訪談，並取得台灣與波蘭國家檔案的授權。2025年透過群眾募資募集260萬元，獲得超過1,100位贊助者支持，引發社會廣泛關注。
目前正進行後期剪輯與配樂設計，同步規劃國際影展之參與及發行策略，預計2025年底完成正式版。

In the Spotlight has completed principal photography, including fieldwork, reenactments, and interviews, with access to Taiwanese and Polish national archives. In 2025, it raised NT$2.6 million from over 1,100 backers. Now in post-production, the film targets a late 2025 festival release.
